About this course

Training for recreational and racing skippers and crews who encounter rough weather and problems at sea. The certificate awarded conforms with the eligibility requirements of section 6. 01 of the ISAF Special Regulations for category 0, 1 and some category 2 offshore races.

Certificate or qualificationThe RYA/World Sailing Offshore Personal Survival Certificate is awarded following successful completion and continual assessment during the course. It conforms with the eligibility requirements stated for World Sailing Offshore Special Regulations section 6.01.
