About this course

The RYA Advanced Plus Windsurfing course is aimed at experienced windsurfers seeking to push their skills to the limit. The course covers advanced freestyle moves, high-speed sailing, and wave techniques. Participants practice optimizing equipment for extreme conditions and mastering dynamic maneuvers. By the end, windsurfers will have the confidence to tackle demanding environments and explore competitive or freestyle windsurfing.

Course contentAdditional clinics are: Water starting; Planing Carve Gybe; Bump and Jump; and Advanced Carving Skills
Certificate or qualificationDepending on clinic completed: Able to water start, complete the planing carve gybe; complete basic jumping and landing; and complete variations on the carve gybe - step, strap to strap, duck and slam.

Prerequisites

Knowledge or skills to a stated level

Windsurfing skills to the standard of Intermediate planing, or Youth Stage 4.
