About Us

Operating since 2012 from our site on the banks of the tidal River Medway, we pride ourselves on providing paddlesports, sailing and powerboating tuition in a safe and fun way. Staffed entirely by highly trained volunteers, we have over 400 years of combined experience on the water. Our fleet of training boats are drawn from the fleet of Topper International, and range in size from single handers through to the Topper Omega, suitable for sailing by a small team of adults. All of our safety boats carry built in VHF 2 way radios to keep in touch with base, other craft on the water and the coastguard and emergency services. Our instructors are all trained to the highest standards with the Royal Yachting Association and / or Paddle UK. The whole team is DBS checked, and all water based volunteers carry an up to date Emergency First Aid certificate. Our operation is regularly inspected by the RYA and the Adventure Activities Licencing Authority, guaranteeing you a safe and well managed time on the water. We provide life jackets (covering young children to adult sizes) as well as a range of wetsuits, splash jackets, water shoes and safety helmets.
