Haslar Yacht Club

Haslar Yacht Club is an informal club for boating enthusiasts in the Gosport and Portsmouth harbour area. Although the club is centred on Haslar marina, membership is open to anyone. The club was founded in 2009 by a group of Haslar berth holders who wanted to add another dimension to their boating activities, providing opportunities for them to sail, meet and make friends with other people while enjoying their hobby. boatfolk generously support the club’s activities, and while many members keep their boats at Haslar, others have boats located elsewhere in the locality, further afield, or even no boat at all. There is a fairly even split between sailing boats and motor boats, and they all join in the activities together.
