About this course

The RYA Windsurfing Intermediate Racing course introduces windsurfers to the fundamentals of racing. Participants learn starting procedures, mark rounding, and tactical positioning. Practical exercises simulate race conditions, focusing on speed optimization and decision-making. This course provides a solid foundation for windsurfers aiming to progress to advanced racing events.

Course contentA programme that builds on your basic racing skills and helps you improve the key principles of starting, handling, speed, strategy and tactics.
Certificate or qualificationTake part in club racing in good conditions. Core racing skills will have improved.
