About this course

The RYA Improve Your Wingsurfing course is aimed at wingsurfers who want to refine their skills and gain more control. Participants learn advanced steering, upwind sailing, and techniques for handling stronger winds. The course also focuses on safety, efficiency, and optimizing equipment. By the end, wingsurfers will feel confident tackling a broader range of conditions and progressing to wingfoiling.

Course contentThis course builds confidence and enhances the skills learnt in the Learn to Wingsurf course, enabling students to make progress, hold ground upwind, and improve tacking and gybing transitions. This course is a fundamental stepping stone to progressing onto Wingfoiling.
Certificate or qualificationImprove your wingsurfing; this course increases confidence and ability. Having completed this course, you can progress and hold ground upwind, confidently tacking and gybing as conditions require.
