All Dinghy Sailing Courses

The RYA Dinghy Courses offer structured, hands-on training for sailors of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced racers. Created to build confidence and skill, these courses adhere to the RYA National Sailing Scheme, ensuring safe and enjoyable dinghy sailing.

For beginners, RYA Start Sailing (Level 1) introduces basic boat control, rigging, and essential safety knowledge, while RYA Basic Skills (Level 2) fosters independence on the water. Intermediate sailors advance through Better Sailing (Level 3) and can specialise in spinnaker handling, seamanship, or racing.

Advanced courses, such as Performance Sailing and Day Sailing, refine techniques and introduce sailing in different conditions. There are also RYA Youth Sailing Courses, specifically designed for younger sailors.

These courses occur at RYA-recognised centres, using modern equipment and experienced instructors. Whether for fun, sport, or career development, RYA Dinghy Courses provide a structured pathway to becoming a skilled and confident sailor.
