RYA Windsurfing Foiling Sustained Flights
About this course
This course is designed to increase your foil handling and control, taking you from your first take offs to sustained flight. This course aims to increase confidence and comfort surrounding the practical techniques and theory required to foil, steer and maintain a course effectively, as well as maintaining longer foiling glides.
Course fundamentals
| Minimum age | No RYA minimum age · Providers may set their own age rules, especially for under-18s |

| Duration | 8-10 hours delivered over a number of sessions or full days |
| Course content | This course builds on techniques and theory required to maintain and sustain foiling effectively (all transitions will be non-foiling). |
| Certificate or qualification | The appropriate RYA course completion certificate is awarded following successful completion of the course and its prescribed assessment. |
